About Summer Sessions

Davis Community Track Club summer sessions are a great way for kids age 4 and up to get Track & Field experience in a fun, supportive environment. Returning and older students can use the camp to build skills in their favorite events and maintain fitness.

Our experienced coaching staff and high school athletes guide students through a 1-week training curriculum, where they have the opportunity to learn or practice track & field events of their choosing, including:

  • Hurdles
  • Jumps -- Long jump, triple jump and high jump
  • Pole Vault
  • Throws -- Discus and shot put
  • Sprinting
  • Distance

Practices begin at 9am and end at 11am. 

Dates and Location

This year's summer practices will take place at the Davis High School Stadium.  We will have six one-week sessions: 

Session 1: June 11 - June 15

Session 2: June 18 - June 22

Session 3: June 25 - June 29

Session 4: July 2- July 6 (We will have practice on July 4) 

Session 5: July 9 - July 13

Session 6: July 16 - July 20

Evening Distance Running

DCTFC offers distance running athletes who will be in the 8th through 12th grades in the 2018-19 school year.  These practices are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.  June 18 through July 26.  Contact Coach Bill Gregg for more information:
