Winter Program

WE ARE OFFERING TWO WINTER TRACK PROGRAMS THIS YEAR:

The High School Program:

The high school program is for 9th through 12 graders. The goal for the winter program is to prepare new and returning athletes in all event groups - sprinters, hurdlers, pole vaulters, long jumpers, triple jumpers, throwers, distance runners, and/or those who remain undecided - for the spring track and field season.

The High School Winter Program runs from November 26 to January 1.  We will not have practices between 12/24  and 1/7.  The coaches will provide an independent workout plan, however, for these two weeks.  We will resume practices on Tuesday, 1/8.

We meet four days/week, Monday through Thursday, at the Davis High School Track. Practice begins at 4:00pm.  End times will vary from day to day but will typically end at 5:30pm.

The emerging runners program runs from November 26 to April 11 (the start of the Jr. High season). We will not have practices between 12/24 and 1/7.  The coaches, will provide independent workout plans, however, for these two weeks.

This group will meet twice per week, Tuesdays and Thursdays, at the Davis High School Track.  Practice begins at 4:00pm.  Practice ends at 5:15pm.
